This is an optical illusion, the blue stripes and the green stripes are both RGB 0-255-150.  Test this by pulling it up in Paintshop.  The key to making them appear different is in the surrounding colors.  The orange brings out a more brisk green than how the stripes by themselves appear, while the pink stripes make the light green appear to be baby blue.

For real?!
